Hey Raccoons!
We are so excited to host Prom 2021 at Oconomowoc High School! Over the last few days, we had the opportunity to review our plans based on the number of tickets sold in the last few weeks. Due to the creativity of our Student Council, the flexibility of our vendors, and given the adjustments to some of the Waukesha County Health Department Guidelines, we are excited to share that we can merge our two separate grade-level Proms into one formal event on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Oconomowoc High School. Please review the details below:
- Juniors who
purchased tickets for the Junior Prom on Friday, May 21, 2021, will
automatically be registered to attend Prom on Saturday, May 22.
- We understand
this schedule adjustment may cause conflicts for some families and
students. Please email Angela Fisher (FisherA@oasd.org) or Danielle Bukal (BukalD@oasd.org)
if you need to schedule a refund.
- We also
recognize that the date change will now allow some students to attend that
might not have been able to. To accommodate this, we will reopen ticket
sales for a very brief window of time tonight through Monday, April 26.
You will have to purchase your tickets under Senior Prom, even if you are
junior. If you have questions email Angela Fisher at FisherA@oasd.org.
- In order to
effectively contact trace, we still cannot allow guests from other schools
to attend.
- All the
details are the same. The Grand March will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by
dinner in the Field House, and then games and dancing until 11:00 p.m.
- We are still
seeking donations to support the funding of this event. If you would like
to donate, you can click here to make a donation to our
PTO.
- We made this
decision as quickly as we could with feedback from our Student Council. I
acknowledge this may cause some conflict or challenges with previously
scheduled appointments, however, this is what the vast majority of
students requested. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience!
I know our Raccoons are excited to celebrate as one group! I am thankful to everyone for their work to combine these events. Thanks for your continued support and flexibility. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at CurtisJ@oasd.org.
Let’s get ready to have some fun!
