Dear OHS Families and Students,
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, we will host our annual Fall Career, College, and Life Readiness Day. On these days, we run an adjusted schedule to support grade-level-specific activities that help students develop their Academic and Career Plans. More information and dates for our Spring Career, College, and Life Readiness Days are available here.
On October 13, we will host required grade-level activities for Freshmen and Sophomores and optional activities for Juniors and Seniors. Information on activities for each grade level is outlined below. Even though we run an adjusted schedule, buses operate on their normal routes and pick-up/drop off times.

Freshmen will report to their assigned locations to meet with their counselors at 7:20am. During the morning, industry speakers will share insights on career development, and in the afternoon, OHS staff will lead freshmen in service projects designed to help students reflect on potential career interests through a service lens. Sophomores will report to their assigned room numbers at 7:20am to meet their staff leader and head out for their selected career and college visits. We will share specific details on dress code, lunch, and the day's schedule with students at a Pride meeting and email them to families in early October. Upperclassmen who signed up to take the ACT should report to the Fieldhouse Lobby at 7:20am and bring your ID. Testing locations will be shared in early-October. If you have any questions about the test, please reach out to Mrs. Anders (AndersM@oasd.org) or Mrs. Fink (FinkR@oasd.org). Seniors and Juniors not registered for the ACT do not report to campus and do not have classes on Tuesday, October 13.

Seniors participating in this incredible opportunity should report to the Oconomowoc Community Center. If you have any questions heading into your meeting or interview, please reach out to Mr. Nelson (NelsonD@oasd.org) or Mrs. Regan (ReganJ@oasd.org). Seniors should only report to the Community Center at their assigned times. There is no other required attendance periods for seniors on Tuesday, October 13.
