Homecoming 2026: Details and Information about all our Events!

Tuesday, September 15, 2026

Hi Raccoons and Families!

Next week kicks off our annual Homecoming Celebrations! Homecoming is a chance for generations of Raccoons from across the country to come together to celebrate our shared experience of being Raccoons. It’s always fun to connect with alumni, hear their stories, and learn how the past has shaped OHS today. It’s also a chance for our current students and families to come together and have fun as we kick off the new year. It’s a long, tiring, but fun week!

Oconomowoc High School has been around for 144 years, and next week is our chance to celebrate our Raccoon history, identity, and community! Outlined below are details for the week. I look forward to seeing you at some of the events. Please reach out with any questions!

Go Raccoons!

Jason

Ticketed Events
Sporting Events and Homecoming Dance
You can purchase tickets for our sporting events and the Homecoming Dance through the Just A Game portal. While students get in free to home sporting events throughout the week, you should buy your Homecoming dance tickets as soon as possible.

Pep Rally (Friday, September 25 at 8:45am) - Gale Douglas Fieldhouse
Families are invited to the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse for our Homecoming Pep Rally at 8:45am on Friday, September 25. Doors to the Fieldhouse will open at 8:30am.

Community & Alumni Tours (Saturday, September 26 at 12:30pm - Meet at the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse)
If you haven’t been to campus for a while or want to show off OHS to any visiting relatives, friends, or neighbors, join me along with the classes of 1966 and 1976 on a tour of our Campus. We will meet in the lobby of the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse at 12:30pm.

Grand Marshals
We will honor the OHS Classes of 2020 and 2021 as our Grand Marshals for the Homecoming Parade. The Class of 2020 lost out on the spring of their senior year and never had a classwide graduation, and the Class of 2021 never had a senior-year Homecoming. It will be exciting to have alumni representatives back for another Ocon Night as we give them the Homecoming and recognition that many of them missed out on.

Accountable to Ourselves and Each Other
While Homecoming is a fun week, we still have to be grounded, committed, and accountable Raccoons! Classroom expectations won’t change, our community commitments will be enforced, and everyone is still expected to bring the energy to each class period.

Unofficial traditions, like “TP Wars,” create unnecessary distractions and drama that take away from the spirit of Homecoming. We cannot tolerate destructive behavior, vandalism, and other inappropriate actions. Victims should contact their local Police Departments to report any inappropriate or destructive behavior. Homecoming is meant to be fun, not a stressful time where rules don’t apply.
