Starting off Term 4- Updates and Reminders for the Last 9 Weeks!

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break! Spring Break is an important milestone in our school year because it means we are turning the corner and are quickly approaching the end of the year. Time flies, but it seems to really fly during April and May!

Outlined below are the important dates and events that will help ensure we have a successful finish to the school year. If you have any questions, please reach out to your counselor, associate principal, or myself.

Term 3 Report Cards (Published on Wednesday, April 9)
Your Term 3 report cards will be published on Wednesday, April 9. You will receive an email once everything is uploaded to Skyward.

 

Career, College, and Life Readiness Day (Tuesday, April 15)
In mid-March, we communicated the details for the last Career, College, and Life Readiness day on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Click here to see the message sent home.

On this day, we will have specific grade-level activities with an altered schedule. The letter linked above explains each activity in more detail. However, to summarize:

• Freshmen will take the Pre-ACT Secure beginning at 7:20am.

• Sophomores will take the Pre-ACT Secure and Forward Exams beginning at 7:20am.

• Juniors have the day off!

• Seniors will report at various times (see letter linked above) for the Reality Check Life Ready Simulation.

 

Spring Holiday - No School (Friday, April 18)
There is no school and the OHS offices will be closed on Friday, April 18. Classes will resume on Monday, April 21. 

 

Memorial Day Break - No School (Friday, May 23- Monday, May 26)

There will be no school for Memorial Day weekend!

 

Term 4 Exams (Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5) - Schedule

Students will take Term 4 exams on Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5. The adjusted schedule is linked above.
 

Last Day of School & Graduation Rehearsal (Friday, June 6) - Schedule

The last day of school is designated as a half day for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Seniors only need to report at their assigned time for graduation rehearsal. More details to come.
