I am excited to announce that our Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team
has been invited to play at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday, December 11, at 3:00
p.m. against Waunakee High School. Our dance and cheer teams will perform
throughout the game as well! This invitation is an exciting opportunity to showcase our
Raccoon Pride at one of the premier sports venues in the country.
Perhaps, even better news, admission to the game is FREE of charge. We hope you
can join us!
We will run three fan buses with a capacity of 162 seats. Tickets for the fan buses will be on sale through the OASD Web Store
beginning on Monday, December 2, at 7:00 a.m. for $10.00. Tickets are on a
first-come, first-served basis. You can click here to access the Web Store to make your purchases.
Our theme for the game is “Gold Out.” Even if you are not
attending the game, we hope to have as many students and staff as possible wear
gold at school on the day of the game. Special T-shirts commemorating our game at Fiserv Forum will be on sale for $7.00
beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2 through 3:00 p.m. on Thursday,
December 5, and can be purchased
through the OASD Web Store.
To maximize instruction and ensure students, families, and staff
can attend the game, we will run a modified schedule on Wednesday, December 11.
This modified schedule means we will shift Pride to the end of the school day,
with the expectation that students will attend all of their core classes before
departing for the game after Block D at 1:30 p.m. The complete schedule for the

Parents, please notify our attendance office if you plan to excuse
students from Pride period to attend the game. Since students will only be
missing Pride, they will be marked as excused for a school activity. Please
help our attendance office and notify them of your student’s absence as soon as
possible.
Finally, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! On a
personal note, I am thankful to be part of such a fun, hardworking, and
supportive community. I hope that you and your family get a chance to relax and
enjoy each other’s company over the long weekend. As a reminder, there will be
no school on Wednesday, November 27-Friday, November 29. Classes resume on
Monday, December 2.
