Hello OHS Students, Staff, and Families!
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Whether you are familiar with our OHS structures and routines or just joining the OHS community, please take a few minutes to review all the back-to-school information outlined in this letter. This includes:

Important Dates and Reminders
Below are the important schoolwide dates, reminders, and details as we prepare for the new year.

Teacher Meet and Greet from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Self Guided Tours from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to both Main and East Campuses on Tuesday, August 27 to visit with teachers, walk through their schedules, and familiarize themselves with the layouts of each building. Both campuses will be open from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., with teachers in their classrooms and offices from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and the opportunity for self-guided tours from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Remember, only freshmen and upperclassmen supporting our new Raccoons are
required to attend school on Tuesday, September 3. This day is designed to help
our freshmen get connected and understand our community’s values of being
grounded in our purpose, committed to our goals, and accountable to ourselves
and each other. A few notes for freshmen and their families:
- Buses will run
on their regular schedules. If you are being dropped off, please arrive by
7:15 a.m. When you arrive, enter the building through the Gale Douglas
Field House entrance. Everyone will start their day in the Gale Douglas
Field House at 7:20 a.m.
- It’s not
necessary to bring your Chromebook or any other materials.
- We will run
our normal lunch operations. Feel free to purchase food with your ID or
bring your own lunch.
- A rough

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors transferring to OHS this upcoming year are invited to an orientation session on Tuesday, September 3. Please report to the lobby of the Oconomowoc Arts Center at OHS at 10:00 a.m. Click here to register.
Everyone reports to Block A/Hour 1 by 7:20 a.m.

All Raccoons should be on campus for the first day of classes on Wednesday, September 4. We will run a slightly modified schedule so we have time to review our routines and structures and to have a little fun to kick off the new year. Students with off-site classes and placements should take note of the modified schedule.
Operational Notes and Details
Picture Makeup and Material Pick-Up will occur during Open House on Tuesday, August 27 from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Please enter through the main entrance of the Gale Douglas Field House and someone will direct you where to go. It’s important to prioritize attending Open House if you:
- Did not get a
new ID or yearbook photo taken
- Need to pick
up your Chromebook (transfer students)
- Have not
picked up your parking pass yet
Participating in clubs is a great way to explore career interests, meet new people, and have some fun! Make sure to click here to check out the 2024-2025 club catalog! In addition, please swing by one of our upcoming club fairs to explore all the opportunities:
- Tuesday,
August 27 during Open House from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Upper Gym
(club leaders will be present until 4:00 p.m.)
- Tuesday,
September 3 from 1:20 p.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Upper Gym during the Freshmen
First Day of School
- Tuesday,
September 24 during lunch in the Fieldhouse area
There is not a universal supply list for OHS students. Rather, individual teachers will reach out with any specific supplies or materials that might need to be purchased for class.
Community Notes and Details
- Friday, August
23: Football at Pulaski (CLICK HERE to purchase a seat on the fan
bus!)
- Our first
football game is in the Green Bay area. Click the link above to reserve
your spot on the Fan Bus. The cost is $5.90. Plan to meet at the Gale
Douglas Field House entrance at 4:00 p.m. on game day. Please note that
you will need to purchase your own ticket with cash at the game.

Homecoming Week is always so special in our community! This year, our theme is Take Me Home, Ocon Roads and will occur the week of Sunday, September 22-Saturday, September 28, 2024.
