As a community, we are grounded in our values and purpose, committed to our goals, and accountable to ourselves and each other! I am writing to you today to call attention to the idea of accountability. As we prepare for life after high school, it is important that we develop habits and strategies to ensure we hold ourselves accountable to our goals. Accountability defines our character as individuals. We may have all the talents in the world, but if we don’t hold ourselves to high standards, none of that will matter.
- Hold yourself accountable and don’t give in to peer pressure.
- Surround yourself with peers that hold you accountable and push you to be your best.
- Be a leader and hold your teammates, friends, and classmates accountable for their actions, and advocate for those who are victims of these senseless crimes.
- Represent your school, family, and community with pride! This is a great school with amazing students, caring teachers, and an incredibly supportive community. Do not reverse the outstanding reputation that we have built together!
Stay accountable to yourself and our Raccoon community!
