Hi
everyone!
On the first day of the new semester, our entire Raccoon community had a chance
to reflect on the importance of putting first things first. We are all busy
with so many responsibilities competing for our time and energy. Now that we
are at the mid-point of the year, we felt it was important to slow down and
reflect on the goals we set this last Fall and begin to prioritize the events
and opportunities that will help us finish the year strong! Click here to view the schoolwide lesson from Tuesday, January 23, that was
led by Mrs. Mueske, our Leadership Development teacher.
With the new semester underway, I want to reiterate ways in which we can all work together to help each Raccoon hold themselves accountable to the goals they have set for this new year. Take a look at the updates and reminders below. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Go Raccoons!

Progress
Reports (Every 3 Weeks)
Starting
this semester, families will be emailed a grade report every three weeks
throughout the term. The report will list the students’ current classes and
their grades as of that day. The hope is to help families better monitor the
progress of their students throughout the semester and not require families to
constantly log in to Family Access to view a student’s grades.
Families can opt out of this new feature. Click here to view instructions.
Family
Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 22 from 3:15-7:15pm.
Families may log into Family Access and request a 10-minute conference with a
teacher beginning at Noon on Monday, February 12 and closing at Noon on
Tuesday, February 20. Appointments are made on a first-come, first-served
basis. Conference locations will be listed when you book your appointment on
Family Access and confirmed prior to your meeting.
Canvas
Canvas is our program that manages curriculum delivery and feedback for each class a student is enrolled in. Families have the opportunity to monitor and follow their students' classes on Canvas.
Click here for the directions on how to set up this feature.
Family
Access
Family
Access is the tool in which a student’s and family’s personal information and
documents are held. This includes their personal information, attendance
records, grades, report cards, transcripts, and permission forms. Families can
monitor this information by logging into Family Access on any computer or
device. Many families utilize the app which you can download to your phone for
easier access.
